Who is this class for?
This class is geared to train anyone who works around or enters confined spaces.
Why do I need confined space entry training?
This class will teach you confined space hazards, equipment used for entry, and basic rescue techniques.
What does the 2 day class entail?
At the beginning of the class, we hand out confined space entry manuals. A PowerPoint presentation covers the following information:
- Recognition of confined space hazards
- Confined space entry team members and roles of each member
- Proper usage of confined space entry equipment
- Permitting process
- Proper SCBA/Respirator usage
- How to work together as a team and perform confined space entry in a safe manner
- How to plan and write JSA for confined space entry
- Proper use of atmospheric monitoring equipment
We also have hands on exercises throughout the class, along with demonstrations of how to use equipment in a confined space entry.
What happens if a person is working in or around a confined space without proper training?
The untrained worker is at risk of possible injury as well as putting the confined space rescue team at risk in the event of a rescue.

Anywhere you would like. We can perform the class at your location, or ours, in Baton Rouge, LA.
What will be needed if we come to your location?
All we need is a classroom, table, a screen to apply the PowerPoint presentation, people and a place to exercise rescue.
