Fall Protection equipment is a very important part of working safely in any industrial setting. One of the most critical aspects of using fall protection is maintaining the equipment and frequently inspecting the equipment adequately. Inspections on personal fall arrest systems should be performed prior to each use and a minimum of annually by a Competent Person in Fall Protection.
