Training Requirements - OSHA 1926.503
(a) Training program. (1) The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards.
The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to
be followed in order to minimize these hazards.
What do we have to offer?
At our training facility, we have erected unique exercise structures, such as scaffolding, towers,
confined space, etc. which will help you obtain knowledge of various Fall Protection aspects. These aspects include but are not limited
to: establishing definitive parts of Personal Fall Arrest Systems (including body supports, lanyards, self-retracting
lifelines, rope grabs, and anchorage components ), anchorage points (determination and suitability), compatibility between components,
arresting forces (limits, methods to reduce, etc.), fall distances (limits, deceleration distances), and actual hands-on exercise
of rescue techniques. We also cover the usage of equipment including: ladder climbing systems, horizontal lifeline systems, rescue
and retrieval systems, rope grab systems, self-retracting lifelines, and care/maintenance of fall protection equipment.
