The gate simply slides via manual or automated operation. Our automated gates open with the push of a button or the pull of a cord. Once the material has been delivered to the mezzanine, the gate closes by a timer or another activation device.

The Horizontal Sliding Mezzanine Gate is designed to meet Federal OSHA requirement 1910.23 (e) (1) for standard railings. The gate is 42'' high with a mid-rail and a 4'' toeboard.

Because each industry handles material of different sizes, the mezzanine gate is manufactured to your specific width requirements and offers options which will enhance the productivity and safety of your facility and employees.

Electric gate models are equipped with standard features, such as safety to reverse on contact while closing and timer to close with defeat. Additional options may also be added.

Vertical Lift Mezzanine Gate

The Vertical Lift Mezzanine Gate is designed to be durable, productive, and provide the same protection as your railing systems. Operation The gate simply lifts via manual or automated operation. Our automated gates open with the push of a radio control button or the pull of a cord. Once the material has been delivered to the mezzanine, the gate closes by a timer or can be activated for closing by the user. Interlocked Dual Gate We offer an interlocked dual gate assembly that provides workers with a totally enclosed loading area. The interlocked dual gate assembly consists of an interlocked mezzanine gate at the edge of the mezzanine, side-rails and a second manual interlocked gate on the interior which can only be operated if the exterior gate is in the closed position.
OSHA The Vertical Lift Mezzanine Gate is designed to meet Federal OSHA requirements for standard railings. The gate is 42'' high with a mid-rail and a 4'' toeboard. Mounting options include on-deck mounting, which requires only inches of deck space, or off-deck , requiring no deck space. Automation Electric and pneumatic options are available, including all standard options. If you need automation in hazardous or explosion-proof environments, choose our fully pneumatically operated model and utilize the benefits of an automatic gate without the danger of electrical spark. Need productivity enhancement, but you also need safety? Here is the answer for your elevated material platforms and mezzanines.

Simply forklift your pallet of material through the self-closing pallet gates and back away. The gates rest against your material until your material is removed from the opening, at which time the self-closing gates will close.

Each gate is closed by three stainless steel torsion springs. The high-impact bumpers protect your material from being damaged while pushing through the gates.

The adjustable cross bar provides both a physical and visual barrier, as well as a grab surface for added safety.

The Self-Closing Pallet Gate comes complete with gates & bumpers factory mounted to the vertical posts, railing mounting brackets, cross bar, base mounting angle and mounting hardware.

Available in powder coat safety yellow enamel on carbon steel, or stainless steel.
